| Generally solid looking and well proportioned, with powerful musculature with a harmonious build. The flexibility of its members is a characteristic of that identify the type and nobility of a greyhound. |
| HEAD: |
| Long, of moderate width; the skull is flat; the stop light, with strong marked jaws. |
| EYES: |
| Vivid, intelligent, oval shaped obliquely placed, preferably dark. |
| EARS: |
| Small, pink toned, very soft and fine to the touch. |
| JAWS: |
| Strong, they have a perfect scissor articulation, regular and complete; meaning, the upper incisor covers the lower one with tight contact and are well placed on the jaw. |

| NECK: |
| Long and muscular, harmoniously compact (upper part slightly convex); well placed on the shoulders. |
| FRONT EXTREMITIES: |
| With angled shaped shoulders, placed backwards, muscular without being loaded, lean and clearly drawn on the upper half. The front (starting from the elbow) are long and straight, with well developed and quality shoulder blades. The elbows are well placed under the shoulders and are clear. The elbows, phalanxes and toes are neither in nor out. |

| Wide and broad chest, leaving enough space for the heart. Long centered ribs, well developed backwards. The flanks are well placed. Pretty long back, broad and square. Powerful back, slightly arched. |
| BACK EXTREMITIES: |
| The thighs and legs are muscular, revealing a powerful thrust. Its joints are at an angle. The back of the knee descends, not turning inward or outward. Trunk and hindquarters are well developed and well inserted, so that when it runs it covers a lot of space. |

| Long, placed fairly low, strong at the root, and thins out towards the tip; carries it down and slightly curved. |

| Its hair is very dense and fine. |
| MOVEMENT: |
| The straightness, span and ease of its movements with the ground allow this dog to move at great speeds. The hind legs are under the body, being able to give it great impulse. |

| The ideal size is 71 to 76 cm to the cross on males, and 68 to 71 on females. Its weight varies in between 27 & 32 kg. |
